What's the difference between

～てもらう
～てもらおう

For example:
写真を撮ってもらう。
vs
写真を撮ってもらおう。

?

The first is a statement or a question, depending on intonation, the second is a suggestion or perhaps indicates some doubt. That'd be my first guess, anyway.

The first is simply a statement = I have my picture taken/ to have a picture taken
The verb is in the plain, dictionary form.

In the second, the verb is in the volitional form, which is often used with the meaning of "let's" to suggest that you do something. So in this case: Let's have our picture taken.
