Help with Translation

Kanji are not translatable. Words are, barely. Sentences work best.

Nevertheless... 安 in Japanese has meanings of cheap, easy, or relaxed, and 迪 has meanings of edification and paths. If these characters are supposed to have any relation to each other, I think they're probably Chinese, not Japanese.

QuackingShoe-san is correct.

Even when I tried the combination in an electronic dictionary, 「安迪」didn't return as anything recognizable.

However, I tried using Google Translate, from Chinese to English, and resulted in the name "Andy". Several other sites verified this.

This makes a lot of sense, considering the onyomi (Chinese reading) of 安 is "an", and the onyomi of 迪 is something like "teki". "di/dy" is not a natural sound in Japanese, so undoubtedly there will be some variation when considering Chinese.

So, if your name is Andy, this is how the Chinese would write your name.
