Question about All the Newbie Lessons Seasons...

Postby PaxkiMe » April 26th, 2010 6:14 pm

Konnich-wa mina-san!

I have some questions about the Newbie lessons. Why are there soooooo many seasons of Newbie lessons? I finished S.1 of the Newbie lessons and now I'm listening to S.2. However, once you are finished listening to a season, you're told by the lessons that you can move on to the Beginning lessons after you finish a season.

If I'm ready for the Beginning lessons after I finish Newbie lessons S.1, why are there 5 seasons of Newbie lessons? Should I go through all 5 seasons of the Newbie lessons and then move on to the Beginning lessons? I'm wondering if I skip over some of the Newbie lessons, would I be missing some vocabulary or grammar that I should have before I move on to the Beginning lessons?

I hope this doesn't sound confusing! I'm just wondering how I should handle the 5 seasons of Newbie lessons. As always, thanks so much for the great website!

Sincerely,

Yeah, many people here have expressed this concern, unfortunately, Jpod101 is not listening. Too many newbie lessons, which is unnecessary.

If Jpod101 has so much resources to make newbie lessons, why not focus on lower intermediate or intermediate lessons.

All I can say is, Jpod101 is not listening to its listeners. Jpod101 is going to lost my subscription after my current one expires.
