Then he suggested I watched some Disney films in Japanese. It makes so much sense! I know the storyline so it'd be a great method of learning.
Does anyone know where I could get some Disney films in Japanese? Subtitles or not... they'd be a bonus. But I think the important thing is the audio is in Japanese.
Ideas?
Honestly, you're best bet (and a good chance to practice reading Japanese) is to order from either Amazon.co.jp or from Rakuten. I happen to work for one of these companies, so my opinion may be biased, but I can say that Japanese DVDs featuring American/British movies very often have a "English with Japanese subtitles" version built-in. So as long as your DVD player can read Japaense country format, you're good. Most respectable (read: not cheap) DVD players can do this. For computers DVD players watch for "country-code switch" limits like they do on Macs.
Good luck!
