「渡しといてくれた」?

Hi, everyone. I was studying some JLPT 1 dialogues, and I ran across the following line:

男：あ、そう、いやー悪いことしちゃったな。で、例の書類渡しといてくれた？

Could anyone tell me what's going on with 渡しといて? I was thinking it was perhaps a shortening of 渡しておいて, which would make sense in the dialogue. However, I wanted to make sure.

Yeah, you're right. てお of ておく becomes と.
