Congrats! I wasn't even ready for 4kyuu, so I didn't sign up. I'm seriously considering 3 or 2 next year, though. (Probably will wait another year if just 3kyuu, though... Lotta time and expense involved.)

The test is offered in many different cities in America. You can find all test information here:

http://www.jlpt.jp/e/index.html

You can find a JLPT Practice Section right here on the JPod101 site:

http://www.japanesepod101.com/learningcenter

Hope this helps! :)

Thank you! :D It was my second attempt! :karate:
I'll make a post sometime listing the books I used, and their strong & weak points. :hachimaki:

Awesome I'd appreciate your opinion on the test. I was signed up for the JLPT but I forgot the voucher and they wouldn't let me take it  Ah well.

I finished the Kanzen Master series. Also read all three levels of the Japanese Grammar Dictionaries by Japan Times. I also played a lot of RPG's like Final Fantasy 6,7,10, Crisis Core and Tactics in Japanese. Hope that'll be enough  Doing 12 right now...

Yea, that helps a lot, thanks!

I'm not sure about the practice test on this site though, I have very little time as it is, which is why I use jpod101 so I can just listen to it at work or while I'm doing something else. But I don't really have much time to use any of the premium learning features. Maybe one or two but that doesn't really justify paying that much if I'm not gonna be getting my money's worth.

....one day......

But thanks for the jlpt resources, I'm going to try their sample questions.
