仏様 v お釈迦様

Postby mub2002 » December 2nd, 2008 4:01 am

Can anyone please tell me the difference between hotokesama (仏様) and oshakasama (お釈迦様)? I know that they both refer to Buddha, and I know that the first also refers to the deceased in general, but can anyone tell me how they differ in relation to Buddha?

Many thanks!

The first is a Buddha, the other is the Buddha.

If that's not enough information, you just need to read up on buddhism :o
