Best way to say "I can"

Postby Flamehearted » August 18th, 2008 9:41 am

Was speaking to a Japanese friend to practice my Japanese at the weekend, and found myself coming across a mental block.

What is the usual way to say "I can" in Japanese ? Is it to use the structure "Infinitve + koto ga dekiru" or is there a better more common way ?

Thanks in advance !

Koto ga dekiru is fine, but you'll probably want to learn to use the "potential" form of verbs:
