Name Translation Request

Postby aayanda » July 27th, 2008 10:15 pm

I'm also wondering what my name would look/sound like.

My name is: Gwendolyn Coleman

BUT! I usually just go by: Gwen Coleman or: Ayanda [pronounced Uhh-yan-duh]

Ayanda is my South African name, and what i go by half the time. Help? :?

Please and Thank You. ^_^

グウェン コレマン is how I would say Gwen Coleman

ウヤダ for Ayanda

グウェンドリン コレマン for your full name.

Chances are there are a couple of corrections that need to be made there, just practicing here. Any suggestions guys? Or did I get that right?

I would use

グベン/グベンドリン コールマン
or
グウェン/グウェンドリン コールマン

and

アヤンダ

There's no direct transcript for the ə... that I know of.

I think Gwen could just be グエン.
ジョシュ

グウェン・コールマン sounds good. Gwen Stefani's katakana is グウェン
