Well, that would depend on how it's pronounced... And I'm not sure how it's pronounced.

I'd like help with my name and also would like to know how one says Israel and Israeli.

My first name I can easily find over at the name search engine. I like to use my middle name as well and I found it easily in the name search engine. My last name is Heyman as in "Hey man! Wassup?"

From what I can figure out my name could come out like this:

ヘマン ダビド リ

Does this seem right? Do I need periods in between the names?

Israel is イスラエル, so Israeli would simply be イスラエル人.

 What a fun thread!

My name is 'Rain Long', so I could probably get away with some good lookin' Kanji. Mwah!

since no one else has answered this one.... here's my best attempt.
i'm not 100% sure of my katakana-ization skills though... anyone else have an opinion?

Eric (Erok) Cunningham...
エリック (エラック)カニンガム [e ri kku (e ra kku) ka ni n ga mu]
you don't tell us how to pronounce your last name, so i'm going with the silent "h" version.

It's Flavia Amaral, pronounced Flah-vee-ah, Ah-mah-rahl

フラビーア アマラル (fu ra bi i a/ a ma ra ru)
(take out the ー mark if it's not a long vee sound)

my name is: Isaiah Dasen (I-zay-uh Day-sun)

アイゼア (a i ze a)... or アイゼヤ(if it's more I-zay-ya) デーサン (de e sa n)

My name is 'Rain Long', so I could probably get away with some good lookin' Kanji.'

雨(rain...ame) 長い(long...nagai)[/quote]

No worries.

Enamdict is a little disorganized, but probably the most useful part of the edict project, because it has such a massive database of Japanese place & people names.

Again, so everyone knows, getting your name in katakana is usually quite trivial.
http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic.cgi?1C

Go here, select "enamdict" as your dictionary, type your given or family name in the box. Done.

It has almost all "English" names, and a large number of names from other languages. Please try this before you ask.

Lachlan George = ラクラン・ジョージ
Kuon Siek Yin = クオン・シエク・イン
