i saw it in a book so thats why i asked.

im learning about suffixes now, which is why i am experimenting. chan is a friendly way of adressing people while sound adorable, hence natsuko-chan. (i only use it for a female though)

did you see "pun" after numbers?
If so, it means "minutes" and we add "fun" or "pun" after number to tell time.
Still, no idea about "chin"... :roll:
Does your book have any example sentences? If you provide me a bit more background info, I might be
able to help you better :wink:

it said that chin is a slangy version of "chan" and "tan" is an even slangier version of "chan".
also "pun" it is said that it is a fun a dorky title.

oh I see....
it should be one of those used amongst youngters, and not actual suffix that goes on any teaching materials or dictionaries.
