yes yes! like in singapore, cellphones are promoted by the airtime and the number of smses. email and internet are rarely part of the promotion and so they charge by the traffic, in the number of kb that goes in and out of your phone. gets really たかい after awhile.

Yeah mobile/cell phone emailing is expensive here too. Very, very annoying because it would be really handy for me.
