Questions About the Suffering Passive Voice (and such)

I think I have understood the basics of the suffering passive voice

Jon was towed (No such thing happened to Jon, it was his car that was towed)
Jon was defected (Jon has a lot of trouble with his car)
Jon was burgled (and with his house it seems)

However, how far does the suffering passive extend.

Jon was rejected (His publisher didn't like the manuscript) - or would this be simple passive,
and,
Jon was rejected (The lady he had his eye on had her eye on someone else)
Same question (suffering passive or passive.... Is Jon considered in ordinary speech to have been rejected, or would it be his suit that was rejected?)

and could the suffering passive be used for beneficial events...

Jon was accepted (his publisher liked the re-written manuscript)
Jon got clearance (Jon's car passed roadworthy inspection on the 5th attempt.)

Finally

What voice is needed for "drew" in the following sentence...

The sound of music drew him to the window: Is this causative passive or something else?
