来る vs 来なすった

Postby Bokuwaiaindesu » August 24th, 2010 12:09 pm

I have a question I have tried to translate:

あんた首都から来なすったんだろう?

The question says 'Do you come from the capital city?' But even though I know what it says I don't fully understand what's happening with the verb.

あんた首都から来たんだろう?
あんた首都から来なすっただろう?

Any idea what the difference is? I have looked all over and can't find any answer.
Thanks in advance.

it's kind hard to explain but let me try it.
firstly,来なすったis consisted of two verbs.

来(きki)(verb)= the origin ofverb 来る,
and
なすった(verb) that probably comes from the verb なさった

The deifference is that" 来なすった"was used in a long time ago like before 100 years ago and it isn't used nowday.

But quite a few people like those speak in a dilect are still using "来なすった" .

Anyway, if you want to say "has come", 来た should be fine :D
