How old are you? 33
What is your first language? English

1. Would you describe yourself as a:
D. I’ve no idea

2. Would you describe yourself as an:
B. Extravert person

3. When you learn a language, do you think about the method or tactics of learning itself?
A. Yes

4. Are you anxious about producing oral Japanese?
D. Sometimes, in the occasion that… I need to say something quickly at work.

5. How do you think about tests in general?
C. Other, namely… Preparing for tests can provide a good framework for learning grammar points, vocab etc. A good goal to work towards.

6. How do you use this podcast? (you can choose more than one answer)
D. I listen to it once or twice and then check the additional learning materials
H. After or while listening to the podcast I write words or sentences down (I don't write them down, but I add anything I don't know to my Anki deck)
L. etcetera…, please tell me your best strategies!

I use the podcasts mainly to supplement my other learning. I listen to the conversations while running or working out, so I listen to each podcast more than once. I also go through the transcripts and anything I don't already know gets added to my Anki deck. Recenly I haven't been able to listen to them so much because for some reason my ipod has messed up their order and I can't get podcast-based playlists to work. So instead I've been listening to Japanese audiobooks and movie soundtracks ripped as mp3s.

I`m 19
Spanish

1.(a) Visual learner, the most.
2.(a) Introvert
3. Yes.
4.(b)
5.(a)
6.I listen them more than once so that i can understand all the explanation and examples.
Write the conversation and repeat several times trying to imitate the expression, practice by myself , everyday repeat conversations i study days before or the month before but keep on adding new lessons. I think this is good for me, 'cause that way i can refresh what learnt so many time before, which is difficult if you don't live in Japan or have someone to be spoken by. Then as times goes by かなり易しくなっていくのですね。
