最近、本から読みましたが「何でも聞いて下さい」。読むことができかったが、文法を分からなかった。何の意味ですか。そして、日本語は正しくなっても訂正して下さい。

Recently i read in a book [nan demo kiite kudasai].I can read it but i just don't understand the grammar. It seems so easy but i just don't get it! Does anyone know what the meaning is? Also, if my japanese isn't correct please correct any mistakes!

I think it literally translates as 'Please ask me anything' ("Feel free to ask me anything" would be a more appropriate, less literal translation, though.)

「何でも」〜 Anything
「聞って」〜 -te form of verb 聞く (to ask, in this context.)

Therefore, attaching 「下さい」to the -te form of the verb produces the following polite request: 'Please do X' (where X is the verb).

でも added to a WH-word adds the meaning of WH-ever.

だれでも whoever
いつでも whenever
なんでも whatever

It's best to learn these as individual words, but the concept becomes important with the ～ても structure.

だれが来てもつまらないにきまってる。
It's going to be boring whoever comes.

何を食べても太らないさ。
I don't get fat no matter what I eat.

いつ行ってもかまわない。俺らの貴重なラブから逃げ出したけりゃ俺ぁ引き止めない。勝手にしろ！勝手に俺の心を打ち砕け！
You can go whenever you want [dramatics].

あいつらにどう言われてもあきらめないんだ。
I'm not going to give up whatever (no matter what) they say about me.
