Help with a Character

Postby jmaeshawn » September 22nd, 2009 3:27 am

Hi everyone :)

I am trying my hand at translating a picture with Japanese writing to help me learn more.
I got the easy katakana parts, and some of the hiragana, but the kanji and one character in particular have me stumped.

I circled the character that I'm having problems with. It looks similar to the katakana カ (ka) but has a lid-type shape on it, and the top line is shorter.

Can someone help me figure this out?

Thanks in advance :)
