confused?

Postby coolfire » June 18th, 2009 3:50 pm

My first is about jpod101. One of the features is for the premuim package is a level check and you get two hours a week with a teacher a 1 on 1. Who do I contact to do that? I have looked every where and I am still not sure where to go or who to talk to. My second question is the lessons how do I do the kanji part. For example when I go to the lesson I fellow the fast track list but do I put the kanji in my word bank and study all them before I go to next lesson? Do I just do the kanji close up and move on? later on ill ask more questions thanks for your ime.

Hi coolfire,
Email to see about setting up the chat with a teacher :)
As for the kanji, it's really up to you - adding them to the word bank sounds like a good idea, but don't worry about trying to master all of them before you move on. They're there only as a supplement, you don't need to know them before going on to the next lesson or anything.

Jessi's right, learning the kanji should be done second. The most imporant thing is to build your vocabulary up, and then learn the kanji for those words.

Well thanks for the help and I tried to contact jpod about getting a level check and a tutor but it was a no go. They just sent me a automated email each time i ask them about the issue but I have gotten so many automated emails from them. I have sent them one for email and I hope that this one is not automated. I mean I should get the benefits that comes with the stuff i paid for, in any case thanks fior yout time.

I heard the podcasts through a friend, and figured I should finally sign up for the site..

No disrespect, as I absolutely adore Peter and everyone at the podcast, but this site is a mess. And while I don't believe it to be true, the initial sign up felt like some kind of scam. The site could use a major restructuring. I don't even know where to begin, and I'm very uncomfortable. The friendly nature of the podcast doesn't seem to be here at all

:(
