ヤセ我慢?

does anyone know what it means? I can only find 我慢 = patience, but what is this ヤセ ?
I can't find it.

I think ヤセ我慢 (やせ我慢) means "False courage", "Fake endurance (for the sake of pride)"...

But, I don't know why yase is katakana-ed. Perhaps for emphasis.

thank you, it's surely for emphasis, it's from some strange song lyrics (http://bildupload.eu/u/090523/j/984dbe31.jpg). But I didn't find it neither with katakana nor with hiragana. Maybe our jp/ger dictionary just misses it^^

I have Rikaichan, a dictionary for Firefox.
It just hovers over words and says what they mean.

I'll right the list it came up with for ヤセ我慢:
"fake stoicism; pretended endurance (for sake of pride); false courage"
