一挙両得 アンド 一石二鳥

Postby stevesayskanpai » November 25th, 2008 12:14 pm

Just studying Yojijukugo 6, and couldn't find an explanation of the differences between 一挙両得 アンド 一石二鳥。

手伝えますか? Can anyone help?

It's just 2 expressions that have the same meaning in the end.

1 action, 2 gains
vs
1 stone, 2 birds

One is more literal and one is more figurative.
