Hello,
Today, I learnt dekimasu and ".. koto ga dekimasu".
So,
hiragana to katakana wo yomu koto ga dekimasu demo, kanji wo yomu koto ga dekimasen. (Even though I can read hiragana and katakana, I cannot read kanji). -- I hope I said that correctly, please tell me if I'm wrong!!
But, how do you say "I can read and write in Japanese", for instance. I'm unsure how to use two verbs together in a sentence as the books I have don't teach you and I don't want to sound silly (although it's probably a silly question...).
Is it "yomu to kaku koto ga dekimasu"?
I'd appreciate help,
Thank you!
