When I opened the PDF for the latest upper intermediate lesson (morbid curiosity, I am a beginner), Adobe Reader 8 prompted me to download Japanese fonts. I was cautiously optimistic.
After re-starting the browser I am able to copy text from the PDF into other programs!!! I am pretty sure this will only work on the new PDF's.
