Translation of a sentence verification

Postby Nicholas » June 30th, 2008 6:03 am

駅まで歩いて十分位掛かります

It takes about ten minutes to walk to the station.

This is probably a stupid question, but I wasn't sure if the まで gave the nuance of "from" or "to." I actually got this sentence from a dictionary, but the English translation was messed up. Go figure.

Any help is appreciated.

The meaning of まで is "to." "from" would be から. 8)

Yeah you're right. I didn't think of that. I need to stop doing these things at midnight.
