I heard one of the female Japanese teachers mention an interesting movie.

I don't recall the name of the Japanese movie, but she said it was based on a series of mishaps.

The main actor said, "If had not gotten up late I could have caught the right train.

I could have been on time. I could have done...

The actor kept saying this throughout the story.

I'm wonder if anyone knows the name of this movie.

Which, coincidentally was showing on the plane the last time I went to Japan. In fact, I mis-remembered it as being brilliant so told my girlfriend to watch it. Then I started watching it after she did and re-remembered that it's terrible, even though I am a total sucker for British romantic comedies (eg. Notting Hill, Bridget Jones, etc.).
