Chooco Choi ?

I heard this strange expression in a few podcasts - what does "Chocco Choi (sp?)" mean ?

Do you mean occhokochoi? It means 'scatterbrained, careless' or something along those lines. I don't think it's very offensive used with equals, and you can use it as either an adjective or a noun. A common use seems to be describing someone who is carelessly forgetful.

Mata saifu wasurechatta? Occhokochoi na!
You forgot your wallet again? You birdbrain!
