Using the auxiliary na-adjective よう, or the informal equivalent みたい (has nothing to do with the verb 見る). Note that よう is preceded by の when it follows a noun, whereas みたい is directly attached. They both follow standard na-adjective rules otherwise.

この女の子は夢のようだ。
kono onna no ko wa yume no you da.
この猫、雲みたいに白い。
kono neko, kumo mitai ni shiroi.
