Studying In Japan

Postby MatyG » November 25th, 2007 12:04 pm

Hi Everyone!

I am currently thinking of studying Japanese in Japan for about a year, most probabaly in Tokyo. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this and if they have any good reccomendations of a good language school.

Thanks for your help

I haven't done it, but I've heard good things from a couple people that used these programs:

They also happen to write good textbooks - Kanji in Context is a gem.

learn language

Postby gfgf » December 4th, 2007 2:13 am

I want to learn some other foreign language except English. And I'm Chinese, I can teach you Mandarin in exchange. But I don't know which other language to learn. I have no idea about this. I have only found some language learning related sites, corsi inglese a Cork , sprachen studieren and språkresor . I wonder someone could give me some other suggestion or recommendation. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Learning Japanese in Tokyo

Postby mslozada » December 29th, 2007 1:50 am

Hello,

There are actually so many Institutes in Tokyo where you can learn Japanese. Most of them offer Appartments or Dormitory for your accomodation.

If you want to live in a Host/ Japanese family during your study (highly recomended), you probably will end up in GOES Kudan. It is probably the only Institute providing Homestay in Tokyo while beeing there only for Japanese study. Though i'm not sure.

hope this could help you
