There's no Japanese on there at all, and there's hardly any of anything else, either.

This offers nothing that other existing solutions don't, including LiveMocha and lang-8.

First of all, babelan.net is an open languages site, hence it's not an only japanese site. Everyone can search and offer any language for a language exchange.

Second, If you search carefully you can find people offering a japanese exchange, here's one:
