Name in katakana generator

Postby jkid » November 15th, 2008 3:41 pm

This site generates what (it thinks) your name would be in Japanese Katakana.

I imagine it wouldn't be 100% accurate but it's a good starting point for those wanting to see how to write their names.

It's actually rather accurate since it's not a 'name generator' in the typical sense, and actually looks your name up in an E-J name dictionary. So if you have a common name like Mark, John, Sarah, etc, it's all you need. Uncommon names or most surnames probably require looking elsewhere, though.
