Over at http://aule-browser.com/kanji/index.html I have added 3 pages with romaji linked to stoke order GIFs.
The Stroke-order diagrams are those of Jim Rose which are linked through about.com
I will flip the about.com GIF's to being UTF-8 characters and the pages will load faster.
In a few days I will break them all down by the usual hiragana syllabary (at the moment they are sorted as Latin alphaber.)
I am slowly adding "kun" and "on" indicators as the romaji give no such indication.
The "Aule Page" of HTML-only safe entry point for the pages is http://aule-browser.com/kanji/romaji-kanji-kana-for-stroke-order.html
(an Aule Page is either plain HTML+CSS with no scriptng or else MIT Curl web content - again no JavaScript)
When there is English available, dragging over the area after the last "dot" in a row reveals the translation.
On my iTouch, the Opera plugin insists on displaying ALL text ... but it is sooo ... much faster than the Safari default ...
I test on Chrome, IE8, Firefox 12, Opera recent and Safari recent.
