Nobody mentioned Kanji Step?

I came accross this site and it has a bunch of JLPT placement tests to check your level. So far they have JLPT 4 and 3 and just released 2 or will soon.

These tests take awhile to do but it is a good way to check out if you are ready for the JLPT.

They also have a bunch of free online mini lessons but I usually just check out their weekly tests.

If you have Facebook. You can use facebook's application called Kanji Box.
Its really great, easy, and free. There is 3 modes for studying; kana, kanji, vocab. Vocab is for multi-kanji words like, Daigaku. See link.

When you get one right. It gives an example. (BTW the ones in black are the ones my mouse is over.)

When you get one wrong. It gives you the two wrong words.

When you are studying, you can choose word sets. The sets are the kanji from grades 1-8 or the JLPT 1-4.
