J-Test and BJT

This may be slightly off topic, but if anyone out there has taken the J-Test or the BJT, would you mind telling me a little about it? Feel free to use the JLPT as a reference point.
I'm assuming the J-Test is similar to the JLPT, but how much? And I know the BJT is a completely different animal, but what exactly is the nature of the beast?
