Japanese National Anthem Kimigayo!

Postby Ulver_684 » October 13th, 2007 8:59 pm

Hi I was looking at Wikipedia and google about Japan's national anthem and this is what I found on the net:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimi_ga_Yo

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Kimigayo.score.svg

http://david.national-anthems.net/jp.htm

I want to know if my findings are correct and if this is the true Japanese national anthem or if is another one out there :?

I would like more information and if anyone can help me out, I'll appreciated very much!

yep, kimi ga yo is the national anthem. it's a song revering the emperor, so it's a little bit controversial.

Marky-san!

Thanks for your help, now I know why JP101 hasn't cover a lesson about it since it's so controversial and JP101 doesn't like trouble right?
