Yes, Higurashi is epic. It goes from an incomprehesible blood stained puzzle to making perfect sense by the end of Season 2 (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai). It's one of the few really good horror themed anime (though it's really a mystery at the heart).

I loved it.
But the final season (Higurashi no naku koro ni rei) has that "happy ending", omg i didn't liked that. :twisted:
