Important: Posting Guidelines

Postby Nathan » April 2nd, 2006 5:11 pm

It's no secret that the JapanesePod101.com crew likes to let loose and have a little fun, but everyone knows that there has to be some kind of guidelines to set the standard. We want to keep the environment here as relaxed and fun as possible without causing any problems.

As a general rule, just use your common sense and keep in mind that our listener base is incredibly diverse, spanning all ages from over 80 countries. Bear with us for a moment and let's get a little more specific while keeping the atmosphere fun and care-free. If you're having troubles posting or have general questions about using the forum, please check to see if they've been answered in our guide to Using The Forum. For any other questions or comments, please feel free to contact one of the Admins, or email us at [email:11un41dd]contactus@japanesepod101.com[/email:11un41dd].

Keep it rated G.

As we mentioned, our listener base is incredibly diverse. In order to provide an environment suitable for all ages, please try to keep it rated G. That means no swearing, and no content unsuitable for younger audiences.

Keep it civil.

We have a fantastic community and have never had problems before, but just to make it official - this is an environment of mutual learning and sharing. Please refrain from any disrespectful behavior, and if you are made to feel uncomfortable, please do not hesitate to contact an admin or email us at [email:11un41dd]contactus@japanesepod101.com[/email:11un41dd].

Keep it relevant.

There is a good variety of forums, and should the need arise they can be expanded. Please try to choose the best forum when initiating a post, and please try to stay as on-topic as possible. We do realize that tangents happen, but try to take any large deviations to PMs or the off-topic forums.

Other than that, please just be sensible when interacting on the boards. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us at [email:11un41dd]contactus@japanesepod101.com[/email:11un41dd].
