Other Amusingly Specific Words Including

越後獅子 (echigojishi: street performance by itinerant entertainers featuring a tumbling act in which a child performer wears a carved lion’s head)

The first two kanji, 越後, actually have nothing to do with “move after.” Rather, before the prefecture system was introduced in the beginning of the Meiji Era, 越後 referred to the Niigata area.
