Another way to write “earring” involves :

耳環 (mimiwa: earring)     ear + ring

A ring for your leg? “Anklet” is a good guess, but it’s not the only right answer:

足輪 (ashiwa: leg band (e.g., on bird or hospital patient); ring; anklet)     leg + ring
