OK, OK, you’re right! I created an unparallel construction. I should have referred to both kun-yomi (ato to mae) or to both on-yomi (for instance, GO to ZEN). And since 前 usually comes before 後 in such compounds, I probably should have reversed the order. But where’s the fun in that?!
