就 (tsu(ku): to take up (a position), enter (a business))To my surprise, this is the kanji to use in writing tsuite (就いて: about, concerning), though people usually use hiragana for that. Halpern says that in 就いて, too, 就 means “to take up (a position), enter (a business), set about a task, set out, enter upon, assume (office).” Not sure I see the connection between those definitions and “about,” but I believe him!
