I can’t relate at all to the next two sentences:
私はなんとか他人の粗探しをする習慣を克服する

Watashi wa nantoka tanin no arasagashi o suru shūkan o kokufuku suru koto ga dekita.
I managed to get over the habit of finding fault with others.私 (watashi: I)
他人 (tanin: other people) other + person
習慣 (shūkan: habit) custom + habit
克服 (kokufuku: subjugation; conquest; victory)
to overcome + to cause to submit粗探しをされるのが好きな人はいない。
Arasagashi o sareru no ga sukina hito wa inai.
Nobody likes to be found fault with.好 (su(ki): to like)
人 (hito: person)
