You may wonder where you’ve seen 越 before. Well, I can’t account for all the places you’ve been, but when it comes to this blog, we’ve encountered 越 three times before:
1. 越年 (etsunen: to go beyond + year), which means both “ringing out the old year” and “hibernating”!
