The usage of "no" in "Uchi no musume no Miu desu."

Postby TheNerdyThingy » May 4th, 2016 8:57 am

"Uchi no musume no Miu desu."

The first no indicates possession, pretty simple.

However, I do not understand the usage of the second no; it does not indicate possession neither does it act as a nominalizer.

Could anyone explain it to me?

In addition to possession, "no" can simply link two nouns. "Uchi no musume no Miu" is "My daughter Miu."
