Latest Version

Its basically like Scrabble with online aspects but of it has some differences like Japanese more difficult letters (kana) than English has difficult letters so I let you swap once to a simpler Kana. Its in Romaji because Stencyl 2.2 doesn't support foreign characters and there about 100 kana*2 so I need to manually write 100 picture files- that's for later. I intend to have some support for Kanji (Japanese pictograms) at some point. Hopefully when Stencyl 3 then that will be all easier.



Its mostly functional- autoscoring finishes but not sure if it works right - but you can do it manually or not all.

This is so cool! I haven't been able to get it to start playing though, with version 19888. I got it to start with 1 player, but then after that I can't get anything to happen.

I really want to try it out! I'm going to try again tonight and give more feedback! Maybe I can help you too! I'm a programmer by trade, and interested in Japanese as well (love it!)

Thanks for your reply. Its a Stencyl made game. I imagine it could become iOS- just make the tiles area float near the
bottom the screen. Have an up/down button to switch between modes and an overlay to show score/instructions (perhaps make verbal or bubble window help for a feature).
I heard Stencyl 3 had foreign language support but the Beta testing of that is taking years.

It is really hard to get the game to play correctly. I try to use the directions, but they are difficult to understand, sorry. It might be worth it to place some buttons on the screen that allow players to select the mode they want. Like a "Place Tiles" mode and a "Enter Selection" mode or something.

Also, it seems that the game continues to slow way way down over time. Maybe there is a leak somewhere?

Anyway, I will continue to try it out and give you feedback!

I have given up- its impossible to use Stencyl to make this sort of game (lots of types of games). The game engine doesn't follow any sort of logic.

I think to make it using FlashDevelop as Flash ActionScript 3 Game instead but that's a learning curve.
