Dashboard is requesting credentials on every refresh

Postby mmmason8967 » March 30th, 2013 8:56 am

Each time I visit my Dashboard, it is popping up a dialog box requesting a username and password. The dialog box says that the request is being made by http://central.languagepod101.com.

I can just click the "Cancel" button without entering any credentials and carry on. It does not seem to make any difference whether I enter credentials or not.

This happens in Firefox, Opera, Safari and Internet Explorer but not in Google Chrome.

I can see what the problem is...

The Dashboard layout includes a DIV called dashboard_latest_news, which displays summaries of the three latest news item on the Dashboard. Below each item there's a link to the news item. There is supposed to be an image (a small pale blue arrowhead) alongside the link, but the image file can't be retrieved.

The URL used by the Dashboard page is http://central.languagepod101.com/stati ... -arrow.png. If you click this link you'll be prompted for credentials.

I'm pretty sure it should be http://www.japanesepod101.com/static/im ... -arrow.png. If you click this link you'll see a picture of a small pale blue arrowhead.

マイケルsan,
Glad to know the problems are now solved :D
Sorry for taking time before replying! It could have been a temporary problem...? Not sure.
Please let us know if those problems happen again. I'll anyway make sure our technical team knows about your
posts (reports), so they can doubly check the site
