Thank you for your continued support and patience everyone!
As I'm sure many of you have noticed, we have rolled out a major update to our flashcards (v2.3). We have taken note of your feedback and gone through and changed/added a lot of things to hopefully make the spaced repetition system much easier to understand for our users.

As always, please continue to post here if you come across any issues or problems with the flashcards. :ue:

The flashcard are getting much better now. But there is still room for improvement:

- The status information on the decks is close to what I would like to see. But it would be much more useful to have "Due now" instead of "Due today". With the current option I still have decks which are not ready yet but will be in the near future (today in some unspecified timezone).

- After finishing a session quite often the system offers to start another in the same deck. Usually you will get the same items but different skills. This is not very helpful in terms of "spaced" repetition. If you master kana you will probably able to master kana with romanji 2 minutes later.

If you don't have a deck, a browser stays in a loading state for a long period of time - presumably forever.

Used Chrome 16.0.912.21, MSIE9, Firefox Beta 8 all on Vista.

Hi. I still can't use the flashcards. No decks are appearing. However, if I try to add the same words again (from word bank, lessons, or core word lists), I'll get a message indicating that the deck already exists. On the My Flashcards page, nothing happens when I click on something, so I cannot create a new deck either. I am using Vista and Internet Explorer.

Thank you for reporting the issue.
I will have the tech team take a look at your account to see if they are able to find any issues with your account when using the flashcards. In the meantime, could you check to see if you are using the latest version of IE, and could you also try opening the flashcards page in another browser to see if it could be a browser issue? Thanks Jessi, I tried it out on a different computer (IE 9, Windows 7), and it worked. Thus, there should be nothing wrong with my account. I've only got IE 7. I'll try a different browser and let you know how it goes.

Merge Deck

Hi,

I was wondering if there is an issue with merging decks? When I attempt it, it tells me 'Import Successful'. But in fact, the merge did not take place. Is there something wrong with my account, or is this an ongoing issue with the system?

On my side, I use Mac OS 10.7.2 and the latest Chrome 17 (Also tested with the latest Firefox 10).

My flashcard deck suddenly disappeared yesterday. I test-created a new deck and it showed up fine, but I'm a little perturbed I lost all of my progress... o_O

The merge deck issue has not been fixed yet, but we're looking to have it fixed by this week :)

Houston, we have a problem.

:( Here the problem, My Flashcard Decks won't appear. Do I have to upgrade firefox or is this just a bug. :(
If Upgrade which version of firefox should I upgrade to.

By the way I using 3.6.8 Firefox

Our tech team has tried restoring your flashcard decks. Are they appearing now? Please let us know if you are still having any more issues.

It will be hard to tell unless you upgrade Firefox - I would recommend upgrading to the latest version. Please try that and let us know if your flashcards are working after that. Thank you! :ue:

I'm having the exact same issue right now. My flashcards were working fine until today. I'm using firefox. :(

just need to upgrade to the latest version of your browser. It worked for me.
