I'd like a basic feed with only a few weeks of lessons

Can we have a version of the basic feed that only contains the last few weeks of lessons and supporting materials? Having everything available in one place is great when you're first subscribing to the site and catching up with stuff, but I'm caught up to the current lessons, and I find the current format kind of annoying. iTunes has real problems dealing with large feeds, so every time iTunes checks my podcast feeds, it locks up for three or four minutes trying to figure out what's new in the jpod101 feed. And occasionally, for whatever reason, it decides that there is new material - e.g. today I had to go in and manually delete a hundred or so old lessons that it decided to add back in.

For now, I guess I'll subscribe to the free feed and use the web site for the lesson notes. But I like the convenience of having everything in one place, so I'd prefer to have those both managed in iTunes. It's just hard to do that with the current size of the basic feed.

Interesting - I use Juice, not iTunes. I download once a week. For the last few weeks, I have also been getting between 300 - 700 lessons/pdfs offered. After sorting out the old stuff, the downloads now are labelled xxxxxxx.mp3.partial I have to rename them all.

I tried using a different podcast catcher ( Zeipod ) and this also tags all the files as "incomplete".
