Trying Japanese ... and a Few Beginner's Questions

Okay, my first time typing Romaji/Japanese (no Japanese input system on my com):

minna-san,

watashi wa Kuremonte Wai demasu. Kono ga namae no igirishogo desu ne.

mo chihongo no namae demas; to huran'go hongo en demas.

Singapoorujin deimasu.

nihongo ni "benkyou" suru koto ga, anime no otaku desu koto wakatai-imasu.

kangaeshita koto chisai "Questions" o hanashatai:- (I wish to ask a few questions:-)

ichi: watashi wa kanji o wakarimasu, demo Chihongo no Mandarin mada. wakatai koto kanji to chihongoji ga hanasshu no chigau desu ka? to iu "Pinyin" desu ne. ( (1) I understand Kanji, but only in Mandarin Chinese. How different are the pronunciations between the two?)

ni: jikan ni anime o mimashite iru; "-kure" -dan o kikamashita. demo ... benkyou hon o sagasshitemasen. nani o desu ka? anime o mimasu koto ga Inuyasha ya hei no fukutyuejin ya "Full Metal Alchemist" desu na. hon ga "Introduction to Japanese Lingustics" ya "Basic Japanese Grammar" desu na. ((2) While watching anime, I hear a "-kure" ending to some words. But I can't seem to find that explained in any of the reference books I look at. Can someone tell me what it is? I watch Inuyasha and Darker Than Black and Full Metal ALchemist. The Books I use included "Introduction to Japanese Linguistics" and "Basic Japanese grammar". )

chigareba; sumimasen. nihongo o watashi ga atarashi desu. (If I made any mistakes please forgive me. Japanese is still new to me.)

Also, feel free to correct me. (I have no idea how to say this in Japanese.)

Finally!

thought I was being ignored.

Yep, my name (in English) is "Clement Wee" (or "Kuremonte Wai" in kana).

The second sentence supposed to say, "My name in Chinese is Huang Hong En."

The third sentence is saying: "I am learning Japanese because I am crazy about anime, and want to understand what is being said on anime."

Is there a better way of phrasing this in Japanese? Please share.

I think spelling and vocabulary are making your message hard to understand.

To start..
Chinese = Chūgokugo
English = Eigo

I'm not sure what "demas" (desu?) and "wakatai" are supposed to mean.
I would try making shorter sentences until you learn a bit more grammar that will allow you to make more complex sentences

I thought I was using normal spelling.

"demas" supposed to be "demasu", the polite form of "desu". "wakatai" is the desirous form of "wakaru" i.e. "wakatai" = "I want to understand". Or did I conjugate the verb wrongly?

anime ga daisuki na no de, Nihongo o benkyou site imasu

"I love anime, so I'm studying Japanese." I'm not very good at writing Japanese, though.

"Kure" is added to the te forms of verbs to make a request to a good friend. Maybe something like

Mite kure

"Please take a look", as when you want to show something to a friend.

ah, "read" sounds contrived, but I get your point.

What is "tame ni" by the way?

tame ni (為に, but the kanji is seldom, if ever used) means "for the sake of, for the purpose of, on account of, due to". It's a fairly general attribution of motivation or cause. A lot of sample sentences should help. It's fairly commonly used.
