moshi moshi, breaking a myth?

Postby sodapple » April 30th, 2010 1:06 am

Mina-san Konnichiwa!

Well, in many lessons of japanesepod101 I see they say that when you call someone you must say "moshi moshi" but... 8) the japanese dramas, in the books, and Asking to japanese friends they say that is when you answer the phone then you must say "moshi moshi".

Japanesepod101 created a myth?

or both thinks are ok?

Hmm. Can you tell me which japanesepod lesson it was? Let me see it in context and I can tell you if it's right or wrong.

It's just when you answer the phone normally.
