Opinions on Tatemae and Hon'ne

So I am writing a research paper as a final in school and I chose to write about the effect of Tatemae and Hon'ne on Japanese society/culture and as I am as I am studying this more I find it very intriguing. And I was wondering what y'all's opinion of Tatemae and Hon'ne were. For instance what do y'alls think some of the pros and cons are about tatemae and hon'ne and how they are used?

In my opinion the topic represents the Japanese customs and culture and is interesting.
If it’s a dissertation, it would be a good topic.
However, it might be a bit extensive area for master’s thesis and bachelor thesis.

Oh it was just a sophomore level high-school essay (I'm still a teenager....)

If you can choose one topic from honne and tatemae, it’s still possible to research it even though you are a high school student.
I just suggest you should narrow down.
