Hi russell.schaeffler,

Thank you for posting.
We appreciate your suggestion and it will be considered.
Actually it is a really interesting feature. :flower:
But we haven't implemented anything similar on this site.
Let us know if you have questions or suggestions regarding our lessons.

Cheers!

Hello Laura,
Thank you for the reply. Typing might be difficult to implement, but something easier to design might be if you hear a Japanese sentence, and you have all the parts of the sentence in word blocks that are mixed up and you have to arrange them in order to fit the sentence. A similar application is used by Duolingo.

One other idea that might be helpful especially for people visiting Japan, is to have lessons on common signs you see in Japan, street signs, station signs (and announcements) , store signs, signs on machines like vending machines, hospitals, banks, police stations...etc. Not just the word, but the actually pictures in the environment. Perhaps you already have a lesson like this, but I haven't seen it yet.

Thank you,
Love the site very helpful, I just hope I can improve before my move to Japan later this year. I lived in Japan from 2006 to 2010 and studied during that time, but since my wife wanted to immigrate to Canada, I started studying French more than Japanese and forgot most of it. Now we are moving back to Japan for a few years and I want to take full advantage of using Japanese daily.
